Surrealism

I've been researching Surrealist artisits recently, and my two favourites so far are Dali and Max Ernst. I especially like Dali's 'Dream caused by the flight of a bee around a pomegranate one second before waking' and 'the face of war' and Max Ernst's work 'L'Ange du foyer ou Le Triomphe du surréalisme.' I think Surrealism is great because it is so...surreal. It's amazing that these artists thought about these things! Although I haven't looked into any other types of art yet, from what I've seen I think I prefer this type to more realistic types just because it's more interesting to look at and evaluate.
